A Space Designed for Both Gathering and Purpose
The Covington Five Kitchen & Bar was crafted with connection and versatility at its core. This open-concept kitchen delivers the best of both worlds—a sleek, contemporary feel softened by warm wood textures and inviting lighting. Whether prepping a family meal or hosting friends at the built-in bar, every detail of this space was designed to work beautifully and effortlessly.
The goal was to create a transitional kitchen that feels open, bright, and inviting—without sacrificing functionality. By incorporating sleek surfaces like the waterfall quartz island and balancing them with natural wood tones and soft lighting, the space invites you in while maintaining a polished, contemporary edge. Each material and fixture was intentionally chosen to foster flow between cooking, dining, and entertaining, making the kitchen the true heart of the home.
This project began by focusing on maximizing space and flow, prioritizing an open layout that could handle both everyday use and larger gatherings. The design team selected a soft, neutral palette to keep the kitchen feeling expansive and airy, with wood textures introduced to ground the space and add warmth. The oversized island became the centerpiece—designed not just for prep and function but as a social hub for guests and family alike. Finishing touches like the brass hardware and statement lighting brought the entire vision together, striking the perfect balance between timeless and current.
